Henry Suarez, ESQ.


Henry Suarez, Esq., is an Assistant School Board Attorney - Workers’ Compensation Litigation Supervisor with the School Board of Miami-Dade County. Mr. Suarez has been a practicing attorney since 1986. Prior to his appointment as Assistant School Board Attorney, Mr. Suarez was in private practice and previously was a Senior Partner with Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson LLP, one of Florida’s oldest law firms with offices throughout the State. He served on the firm’s management and compensation committees.

Mr. Suarez has provided legal counsel and representation to corporate, governmental, and individual clients in a variety of matters, and has extensive litigation and trial experience. Mr. Suarez also served as an Administrative Officer with Miami-Dade County Government where he was responsible for financial and personnel management.

Mr. Suarez is a native and lifelong resident of Miami, Florida and received his education locally. He is married to Barbara Suarez, a Miami-Dade County Public Schools teacher for over 25 years, and is the proud father of two daughters. Mr. Suarez is fluent in Spanish.
